Matrix of Research Projects – Previous, Ongoing, and Planned

This matrix maps my research as a dialogue between two evolving axes/levels, reflecting my academic ambitions as indicated in the Intermedialised mind manifesto.

Vertically, the levels trace a historical and conceptual ascent from the media origins of modernism (Level 0) through mythic and philosophical reformulations to posthuman speculation and reflective synthesis (Levels 3-4). This axis reflects the media and subjectivity across history, moving diachronically from modernism to postcolonialism to posthumanism, from self to relation to synthesis, and from mediation to mythopoesis to metaphysics.

Horizontally, the axis moves from poetics (content and creation, Column A) through aesthetics (form and perception), epistemology (theological and cognitive inquiry), and finally to ontology (practice and lived mediation, Column D). It reflects intermediality as a way of knowing and being and goes synchronically from myth to media to mind and from decolonisation to rationality to spirituality.

Each project (highlighted in bold) occupies one primary field but extends across all, forming a network of relations that reimagines intermediality as both method and architecture.

All published papers (with links) are listed within grid fields/projects they contribute to.

Blue font marks completed stage/project, orange – ongoing (drafting, reading, collecting data, etc.), regular font – not yet started.

Level -1 indicates work/papers completed before my doctoral research, whilst Column E lists supplementary research.
